CPM Calculator

Compare the cost of reaching an audience across advertising campaigns. CPM measures cost per thousand impressions, not cost per customer.

Formula

CPM = campaign cost ÷ impressions × 1,000

Worked example

A campaign costing 100 with 25,000 impressions has a CPM of 4.

How to use the result

Impressions are displays, not unique people. A low CPM does not necessarily mean better conversions. Use the same currency and reporting period when comparing campaigns.
