Tool inputs

Except for the optional AI translation described below, image files, subtitles, calculator inputs, pasted text and JSON are processed in your browser. The application does not upload these inputs or store them in a server database. Files are decoded and processed locally, with temporary preview URLs. Use Clear or close the page to release previews. Generated files are downloaded to your device. Image conversion may remove metadata and does not preserve animation. Some calculators allow up to five scenarios per tool and currency preferences to be saved in local browser storage; you can clear them from your browser site settings.

Hosting and technical information

This site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Requests to load the site necessarily reach Cloudflare, which may process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information and requested URLs to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

Advertising scripts are currently inactive. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand page visits, broad geographic reports and which tools are opened or run. Google may process online identifiers, cookie identifiers, device and browser information and usage events. We do not include calculator inputs, search text or pasted text in our custom events. Google Search Console is used to understand aggregate search performance; no Search Console visitor tracking script is installed on this site. Google Analytics is blocked until you choose Allow analytics. You can reject analytics and still use every tool. Use Privacy settings in the footer to change your choice; rejecting clears our Analytics cookies and stops collection on this site. Your choice is saved locally for up to six months. Data already sent to Google is not deleted by changing the setting. See Google’s privacy policy. Google AdSense publisher verification and ads.txt are configured. Advertising remains disabled until site approval and Google-certified consent management are verified. If activated, Google and its partners may use cookies, identifiers, IP addresses and page-visit information for ad serving and measurement. Tool inputs and selected file contents are not sent in our ad or custom Analytics events. Google Privacy & messaging must be configured for advertising consent and relevant regional choices before ads are enabled. The existing Analytics choice is separate from advertising consent.

AI subtitle translation

The AI translation tool’s fixed sample and file checks run locally. Choosing Translate after agreeing to processing sends subtitle text to our Cloudflare function and then to OpenAI. File names remain in your browser. Original timestamps are processed by our Cloudflare function to rebuild the outputs, but are not included in the AI translation request. Your translation-pack license is sent to Gumroad for purchase verification. Cloudflare D1 stores a one-way hash of the license and its usage count to enforce the 10-attempt limit; raw license keys and subtitle text are not stored in that database. The usage record is retained for the lifetime of the pack so that the limit survives page reloads and server restarts. We do not store subtitle inputs or results in an application database and request that OpenAI does not store the generated response as a retrievable API response; this does not mean the provider retains no operational or abuse-monitoring data. Provider handling is governed by OpenAI’s privacy policy and Gumroad’s privacy policy. Translations are returned to your browser for download. License keys and subtitle text are not included in our custom Analytics events. Do not submit confidential subtitles or material you are not authorized to process.

Optional desktop product and checkout

Subtitle Batch Desk’s free preview processes subtitle files locally. The desktop edition is an optional digital download sold through Gumroad. When you follow the purchase link, you leave this site. Gumroad handles checkout, payment and digital delivery under its own privacy policy. Purchase details provided through the checkout or a support request may be used to handle delivery and support. The downloaded desktop HTML tool processes files locally and makes no advertising, analytics or file-upload requests.

If you email us, your email address, message and any attachments are handled through Gmail to respond to your request. Do not send confidential tool inputs. We keep correspondence only as needed to handle the request and related operational or legal requirements.
